Asian Celebrity’s Height Issue
Do we only admire celebrities who are tall and young? Is this even worse for Asian celebrities? I just came about a story on newsen about Korean Celebrity Kim Tae Hee’s real height.
The story states that on her official profile, her height is stated as 165cm which converts to 5′4″. But according to people who took photos with her or people who actually saw and been with her states that there’s no way that she is over 160cm(5′2″). The story also says that there will be a show airing on September 16th and the whole show will talk about the issue surrounding Kim Tae Hee’s height.
I mean…….wtf. Why do celebrities lie about their height and age? There are always someone who knows the truth and you look like an idiot. Being a little bit taller doesn’t make you a better actress. Don’t get me wrong. I love Kim Tae Hee.

That is the celebrity world. They have to lie and look even more attractive in people’s eyes. Sadly there is to much concern around the height in the celebrity world. My personal opinion is that this is completely unnecessary.

Height is definitely an issue in the celebrity world but I don’t think it should be such a big deal. There are many celebrities who are very short and they are still considered attractive.

Why is that height has to be an issue in today’s society? I am petite -160 and I really don’t want to be any other way.
In our defense – a petite person looks good on high-heels, no matter how high they are; imagine someone tall walking in high-heels -is not a pretty picture!
Is not a matter of celebrity, and even small, normal people feel the pressure of the society.

If you’re being an artist, people see you, talk about you and trying to find every little thing about you they can criticize. Maybe that what makes an artist try to look and sound perfect by many ways including lying. But still lying is not a good way, if you get caught like this.. that’s a great humiliation. by the way, making a show discussing someone’s hight ? come on.. can’t they find another crap to talk about ?
