Asimo rules! The following video titled ‘Japan: Robot Nation‘ was a fascinating documentary. Even though I knew most of the situation the journalist, Adam Yamaguchi, talked about in the video, it was still great to watch it. At first I thought this was a photoshopped picture. Then I found numerous other sites describing what exactly this house was.
…….this time Takasugi-an, a tea house in Chino, Nagano Prefecture, Japan.
The tea house is built atop two chestnut trees, cut from a nearby mountain and transported to the site, and is accessible only by free-standing ladders propped against one of the trees.

- Self-mummified monks
A few Buddhist temples in northern Japan are home to “living mummies” known as sokushinbutsu (即身仏). The preserved bodies are purportedly those of ascetic monks who willingly mummified themselves in the quest for nirvana.
To become a living mummy, monks had to undergo a long and grueling three-step process.
Step 1: For 1,000 days, the monks would eat a special diet of nuts and seeds, and engage in rigorous physical training to strip the body of fat.

As of right now, the most searched word on naver.com is 여중생구타 which translates into something like middle school female attacked. I searched a bit and found this story. Korean middle schooler (A) got beat up by her friend (B) because she (A) spread rumors about her friend (B). Supposedly there is a video online but I couldn’t find it.
