That was a pretty cute video but it’s a good and easy to understand video about how Street View works. I must say, if I was worried about privacy, this would help me feel more at ease, knowing that I could just report a concern and it would be fixed.

    Smart cars in China

Smart’s Fortwo is finally entering into Chinese market. Is that a ’smart’ idea? I’m sure they want to enter into the emerging market like China but can it compete with Shuanghuan Noble? For those of who do not know, Noble is a near perfect replica of the first generation Smart Fortwo, made by a Chinese company and sells for considerably lower than the original. Smart Fortwo will cost around mid $20k while the Noble is around $6500. The ultimate slap in the face of Smart is this…. The Noble’s new slogan is ‘Smarter than the Rest’. So which one of these two company is actually SMART?

These are the current generation of the ‘real’ Smart Fortwo.

    And now the China’s Noble.

Smart cars are hilarious, it’s strange to see them next to the giant SUVs in the States. Might see more of this type of car in the future, though it fits Asia countries better.

I just saw my first “smart” car outside of an Office depot and was actually quite impressed. It looked more decent than I was expecting. I did not, however, get to check out the interior.

I think that they won’t be able to compete effectively based on price, unless they have something unique that the other similar car doesn’t have, and it’s worth about $10k. I think that’s unlikely but on the other hand I’m sure they did a lot of market research and planning before making this decision.

Smart Cars in China are a great idea, since it’s so congested on many of the busy roads in China. The car is pretty much a roll cage, so they’re much safer than a motorcycle.

I owned one for three years and had no problems what-so-ever, other than normal wear. To change a headlight bulb the entire front end had to be removed which only took twenty minutes and 30 minutes to reinstall. It was cool to be able to hold the entire front fender assembly up with just one pinky finger.

China has no history of aggression toward any country so them taking over the world by force is something you don’t have to be worried about. Chinese win over the world by way of assimilation and infiltration. Look around you, chinese are now american, french, british, australian, etc. Chinese has already taken over the world. You are too late, just go out and order a orange chicken to go and enjoy.
