Nam Gyu Ri’s Horror Movie – Gosa

19 August 2008 126 views 5 Comments

So everyone already knew that Nam Gyu Ri is trying to be an actress. I knew she was making a film but did not know that the movie already started.

The movie Gosa (Exam: Bloody Mid-terms) has been number 1 in Korea for the last two weekend. I am guessing that this is kind of like Saw. The movie poster is stating that ‘If you can’t solve the problem, you will die one by one’.

Here is the trailer for the movie.

i did find, surprisingly enough, that a lot of the really great horror flics come out of asia (japan, korea). :) there’s just something about some of these flics, the dread and psychological buildup, the feeling that something is terribly wrong, that is a breath of fresh air compared to hollywood horror, which tends to go for shock and gotcha moments to generate fright.

some asian horror flics are really quite disturbing, and not in a guts and entrails kind of way. so much so that images linger.

definitely gonna give this one a watch. we’ve gotten to the point where american flicks are a joke and i (TDA) have become an avid fan of asian horror. thanks for the tip!

This looks pretty cool, hopefully it’s as good as the last SK horror movie I saw (A Tale of Two Sisters).
