World’s Smallest Ramen Bowl
Aug 5th, 2008 | By AzureWolf | Category: FoodBecause science has nothing better to do, talented Japanese scientists have created the world’s smallest Ramen Bowl. It’s not really ramen, but carbon-based nanotubes. Still very impressive (and pointless) stuff.
Japanese scientists say they have used cutting-edge technology to create a noodle bowl so small, it can be seen only through a microscope.
The bowl was revealed Thursday after it was entered for a microphotography competition this month.
Mechanical engineering professor Masayuki Nakao said Thursday that he and his students at the University of Tokyo used a carbon-based material to produce a noodle bowl with a diameter of 1/25,000 of an inch.
Science is indeed an art, I guess… But hey, if something this small can be seen, then there’s hope for me with the ladies. ![]()
WOW!……I am impressed!……I wonder what will they invent next?……Hey Azure do you have any idea?^^
Wow, never mind curing cancer or developing fuels that won’t destroy the environment, this is ground-breaking, important stuff!
how I can eat the ramen inside?? ^_^
