Joost in China
BEIJING – Internet video firm Joost, started by the founders of Skype, is today launching a venture in China.
It has teamed up with the Hong Kong-based TOM Group and will bow a jointly branded service joost.tom.com with 16,000 hours of content. This is licensed from local creators including CCTV, China Record Corp, BTV Media, CAV Warner Home Entertainment and Huayi Brothers Media Group, according to news agency reports.

I’ve written about Joost before and even gave out the beta invitation code. There was a time where I used to watch videos on Joost for hours and hours. But I don’t use it anymore. It kind of got boring since I can find most of the videos on internet sites such as youtube, veoh, etc… Since now Joost has joined with China service provider TOM, I am getting excited. Maybe I can start watching Chinese TVs. Have you used Joost before? What is your favorite channel?

I’ve tired Joost (during beta and when they were out of beta) some time ago, before they actually block Malaysia’s IP.

Used to use it (Joost ) for a particular use before. My favorite channel was redtube, but I gave up.
