Hyundai Leading Sales in Russia
Hyundai Motor has regained the number one sales spot in Russia’s imported car market after losing it to Chevrolet in March and April. Hyundai links the establishment of a direct sales corporation in Russia last July to the rise in sales.
The world’s fifth largest automaker says it has sold almost 85,000 cars in Russia this year through May, some 2,000 more than Chevrolet, General Motors’ top selling brand. Ford ranked third followed by Toyota.
Hyundai plans to launch its premium sedan Genesis and luxury SUV Veracruz in Russia later this year.

This is obviously a very good news for Hyundai. But I can’t seem to wonder why. Why would Russians buy more Hyundai than GM, Ford, and Toyota?

That is a sharp looking car with a great interior. I really want a hyundai hybrid actually, the price of fuel is getting worse, but the hyundai looks like a great buy. Russia is getting pretty into the luxury, at least in the big cities it seems.

Audi will be releasing a host of models in the coming years to expand into new segments as it attempts to topple BMW and Mercedes in the quest to sell more than a 1.5 million vehicles by 2015. A prototype of the upcoming A5 Sportback has been spotted for the first time, and while there is only one image we can clearly see that the car will feature a high waistline and low roof. The front-end should be identical to the A5 Coupe on which it is based.According to these recent renderings, the A5 Sportback will feature a five-door configuration but will be much sleeker than traditional Audi Avant wagons. The design appears almost like a four-door coupe but the roomy cabin, tall profile, and sloping hatchback style rear-door ensures the Sportback sits in its own niche.

Hyundai is a wonderful and good car. I am fan of hyundai. I love this car very much. Hyundai is the best car in the world. Hyundai, Russia’s No.2 auto maker, sold 65,458 cars in the first four months of the year, up 108 percent from a year ago.It was a great news for Russia. The company is also targeting commercial vehicle sales of 16,700 units this year in the country, compared with 8,014 vehicles last year.

You guys are still drinking “Buy American Coolaid”. If GM built such great quality and durable vehicles why have sales here in the US & Can tumbled? It cannot be because of the price of gas alone as in Europe it’s much more expensive versus here in the US. GM has built sub par products which have pretty much stayed the same while imports have improved and passed them in the sales lane while eating away at their market share. Even Hyundai now builds better quality products compared to most of the big three which certainly wasn’t the case 20 years ago when Hyundai launched in North America with the Pony. Those that don’t learn and improve die out, something the big three have taken too long to learn

It was a best car in the world. I love this car very much. It was my favorite car. In 2008, Hyundai Motor was the No. 1 imported car brand with sales of 192,719 units, or a 9.6 percent market share in Russia. It was very good news. Hyundai is the evergreen car. It looks very simple and amazing one. To drive it was very safe, smooth and style. Thank you for sharing this nice information. I want to buy this car; it was one of my aims.
