Hyundai Leading Sales in Russia

Hyundai Motor has regained the number one sales spot in Russia’s imported car market after losing it to Chevrolet in March and April. Hyundai links the establishment of a direct sales corporation in Russia last July to the rise in sales.
The world’s fifth largest automaker says it has sold almost 85,000 cars in Russia this year through May, some 2,000 more than Chevrolet, General Motors’ top selling brand. Ford ranked third followed by Toyota.
Hyundai plans to launch its premium sedan Genesis and luxury SUV Veracruz in Russia later this year.

This is obviously a very good news for Hyundai. But I can’t seem to wonder why. Why would Russians buy more Hyundai than GM, Ford, and Toyota?
That is a sharp looking car with a great interior. I really want a hyundai hybrid actually, the price of fuel is getting worse, but the hyundai looks like a great buy. Russia is getting pretty into the luxury, at least in the big cities it seems.
Huyndai is a great car. Watch them bit off the piece of the market in the US in the few coming years too.
