Green Blog
As most of you have realized, the word ‘GREEN’ is the new marketing buzz word. According to digital chosunilbo, other popular words are ‘BIO’, ‘PRO’, ‘NATURAL’ and etc… Everything from automobiles to jewelry are going Green. It’s great for the world so I always try to buy green and/or recycled products. What about you? Should I change my blog’s name to ZR5 Green Blog?

Green is overrated. I say go f### the earth. Haha, j/k, but I think you aren’t publishing your blog on paper, and that’s green enough, man. Don’t have to run your site from a biodegradable home!

Yes, you should! It’s totally awesome that people are thinking more about the environment these days. It is always good to hear about companies that take these matters to heart and provide products to their customers that minimize environmental impact.
I happened to come across a company that is based out of Denver, Colorado that is taking the second most wasteful industry in the U.S. and trying to transform it to a much more eco-friendly one. The tradeshow and convention industry currently holds the title as the second most waste producing industry, but this company I found, Trade Show Emporium, is focusing its energy on promoting products that are good for the environment, and also recycling old displays that aren’t. Their products include:
• Materials derived from recycled content
• Low volatile organic compound (VOC) emission adhesives, stains, and finishes versus petroleum based options that pollute the air
• Rapidly renewable materials such as fast-growing bamboo over finite alternatives that take years longer to reproduce.
It is really cool to see a company put the environment first. Help our planet and pass along their website to anyone you know who needs a display.
