Daniel Henney

On February 21st, 2008, Variety reported a new addition to the ever-growing X-Men Origins: Wolverine cast. With various versions of black-and-white chiseled glamour shots accompanying his name, Daniel Henney, 28, was set to portray Agent Zero, a super-powered secret agent who, along with Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), Sabertooth (Liev Schreiber) and Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds), is part of the Weapons X project in the X-Men prequel.

The casting announcement’s repost on MovieWeb.com elicited user comments from comic fanboys, who derided the overflow of characters in the film, debated whether Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool could handle a spinoff series, and generally heckled each other for no reason. Then came the winning question: “Who the hell is Daniel Henney??”

(Rest of the story…)

I just found this interesting article regarding Korean celebrity Daniel Henney. Hope he does well in the States.

    1. Props to Daniel Henney. My gf likes Dennis O’Neil much more but Henney’s alright too :P

    2. Can’t wait to see the movie with Daniel Henney in it…another factor for me in watching X-Men is for its very nice story

    3. Yes, I can say exactly the same. As for me, all the previous x-men were total shit. So it raises a hope that Daniel will make his best.

    4. I also hope he does well in U.S.A. It’s very important for the actors to have a good look in their roles, I mean for those that are not native Americans. That is because the public demands more from them. Some kind of extraordinary talent and performance, comparing to others.

    5. Great more roles for Asians…But why does more and more Asian Actors are mixed???Dont get me wrong I think it great to see more asian mixed or not…But it feels like the non mixed Asian Americans are still left in the dark. Perhaps Hollywood thinks the public still cant except Asian in much more broad roles..anywayz take Pride

    6. I have been waiting for this movie for a long time. I was a fan of the Alpha Flight comics and everything.
