A recent find of Coffee Prince’s second OST (enclosed below) has brought back an array of sweet, bubbly memories from one of my favorite KDramas. I was extremely disappointed by the first OST because it was missing so many songs that were featured in the series. Not to mention it was missing my most-est most favorite moment in the series (Han Kyul singing to Eun Chan). Needless to say I was super ecstatic to find that they released a second version, and although it still didn’t have the part of Han Kyul singing to Eun Chan, I was still able to find a fan made version which proved to be just as good. I’m also very pleased to report that from the sounds blasting out of my stereo, I’m definitely one intensely satisfied Coffee Prince obsessed fan ^__^

I figured while I’m on the subject of Coffee Prince music, I’d introduce or familiar-ate everyone to one of the main artists featured on the show. A Korean indie band made up of two males (키보드/Fair - Keyboard & 기타/Gwangyoung - Others) and one female (보컬/Taru - Vocals), The Melody orchestrates music that is light and airy all the while maintaining feelings of strong emotions. From what I gather, the trio have been around since 2003 and finally made their official debut in 2006. Having released a few digital singles, their big break came from the large musical contribution they made for the K-Drama Coffee Prince and in October of 2007 - a few months after the widely successful Coffee Prince finished airing - they released their self titled debut album (also enclosed below). Their unique sound is not to be ignored, I have high hopes for this band and am looking forward to hearing more from them in - hopefully - the near future.
