Gaki No Tsukai - for the sadists of the world :)
Feb 25th, 2008 | By crazyvoni | Category: MISCWhile I was sick in bed with the flu I spent the better hours of my waking moments on Youtube and stumbled across Gaki no Tsukai. For those of you that don’t know, Gaki No Tsukai is a popular variety show that began broadcasting in Japan in 1989. They are, perhaps, most well known for their no laughing games where the cast is put in a certain setting for 24 hours and are not allowed to laugh. If for any reason any of the cast members do, they are instantly punished.
One thing about watching this show is that people who know a decent amount about the Japanese culture tend to understand and get a better laugh out of watching the show. So the clip I have enclosed below is about a guy trying to read English, from what I gather is suppose to be quite universal so I hope you enjoy!
Crunchyroll has a pretty good collection of the series. Not to mention excellent subtitles to go with them. The only catch is you have to register to watch the videos. Worth a watch in my opinion XD.
