Beijing National Stadiums for the Olympics

China officially unveiled its National Aquatics Centre, nicknamed the Water Cube, on Jan 28.

The Aquatics Centre has a capacity of 17,000 and will host the swimming, diving and synchronized swimming events during the Olympics.

That is one cool looking building. The other building is called ‘Bird Nest’.

The stadium will host the main track and field competitions for the 2008 Summer Olympics, as well as the opening and closing ceremonies.
