Just seven months after their hugely successful Lovely Sweet Heart which generated #1 hits like Sarangeh Insa (”Love’s Greeting”) and Georhon Halgayo (”Let’s Marry”), See Ya struts their charm once again with California Dream. Upon the release of Seulpeun Balgereum (”A Melancholic Step”) (Track 1), the album’s principle track, group leader Nam Kyoo Ri is already making headlines with her shocking image transformation. The singer flaunts her shapely body in tight hot pants and fishnet stockings and showcases sexy dance sequences.
Already on its way up the charts, Seulpeun Balgereum (”A Melancholic Step”) is one of the three brand new songs featured in California Dream. In addition, the album offers an attractive line-up of cover songs like: The Day (Track 10) which sees See Ya’s Kim Eun Ji pairing up with Je Ah of Brown Eyed Girls, Gipeun Bameul Nalahsuh (”Flying Into The Night”) (Track 7) from the soundtrack of 2007 comedy Unstoppable Marriage, and Cheoum Geujarieh (”Like Before”) (Track 8), also from the soundtrack of drama Full House starring Song Hye Kyo and Rain. Bobby Bare - California Dreams lyrics. But nevertheless, when I saw the tracklist I was a bit stunned by this music. What kind of songs and lyrics are going to be there? What kind of sound? I was dreaming about it and knowing there’s no chance to get this music in my town, I magined how it could sound…. and I liked it. The words ssemed so light and tender flying from the inside, along with perfect music accords. See Ya Kim Eun is master and, just like the above added, namgyuri is hot, very hot. Looking forward for it!…
