What exactly is Hyori doing on TV?
Is Lee Hyori one of the hottest Korean girls right now? Yes. Is the Korean public in love with her? Yes. Is Hyori one of the highest paid singer in Korea? Yes.
So what exactly does a popular person like Lee Hyori do to please her fans on her own birthday? Perform a little number on TV, of course. But is Hyori going too far with her sex status? Or has the times changed so much that something like this is okay with Korean public now? I’m not the one to complain since I think she’s hot and her wearing less clothing is always better but you have to draw the line somewhere. I think there’s a difference between using sex to promote yourself and just being slutty.

Oh my! She is wearing what would be considered an extremely conservative bikini in any western country! What a slut! How can Koreans even look at her, she should be ashamed! her top should never reveal her stomache, and her shorts should at least be to the knees. I guess korean men wouldn’t think of her as a slut then. In case you haven’t noticed I am being sarcastic concerning your slut reference to her coustume.

I know exactly what you are saying. But you have to look at everything from where it’s being presented. Just like you have stated, here in the US, I see something like that on TV everyday. However I think I am quite right when I state that Koreans are not exactly exposed of this kind of display everyday.
and most importantly, this is just my humble opinion.
