One thing to keep in mind with a free webcam dating site is that there is much more spontaneity involved. If you are adventurous and get easily frustrated with Instant Messaging or chat rooms, this is the best it gets. You can tell so much more about the other person during a conversation when you can see their facial expressions and body language. It also adds a personal, intimate feel to your interactions.

Any online dating and singles service that doesnt have web chat type functions cant really expect to compete with the more modern online dating sites. Time poor singles are using chat rooms and web cam chat as a quick and convenient way to look for a suitable relationship

I must admit, I love that site. It should be interesting to see if all the other dating sites scramble now to play catchup. It actually leaves a few of the bigger names in the dust.
Now you can get a much better feel for who you are talking to and whether you want to continue communicating. The live webcam gives you an instant peek into the person’s real personality. This can save both parties a lot of time.

just a note about phoenix’s post. At my site, (and i think all sites should apply this) I spent alot of time in my chat room, watching members who frequent the room. and when i see one with good charector, that other members like as well, i appoint them as moderators. also my program requires that a member gives permission for others to view thier cam. just make for a better expeirience for the entire room

I think that other sites can compete even if they don’t support cam. Once you know the other person and want to webcamming with him, well, everyone knows about msn messenger, right?
That said, having the possibility of using the cam in the dating site is a nice addition to the usual services dating sites provide.
