Ever wondered aboutdebt consolidation? Well, check out debtconsolidationlowdown.com. This site have many different articles about saving money, reducing debt, and tips on debt management.

One of the most interesting articles on this site, at least for me, is the one titled ‘12 Reasons why Homeownership is for suckers’. The title alone begs me to read it. I will list the 12 reasons here.

1. Unbelievably high prices and still rising
2. Overhyped tax benefits
3. The Zero Down Payment Trap
4. Can you afford your home’s mortgage?
5. Can you afford the taxes?
6. Insurance – Up, Up and Away
7. You are not ready
8 Good rates don’t come easily
9. A home is for people who want to settle down
10. Economic dilemma
11. New home = more expenses
12. Extra charges

There are numerous other worthy readings on this site. For example, ‘How to save one dollar a week’, ‘…common sense spending tips’, and etc… I have just found the site today but I am definitely going to bookmark this site for future reading. One of the rules that I always forget it “Do not shop hungry”. I fell for this today. I just came back from shopping and I now have too much food and junk food. What a waste of money….

    1. as each day passes, more people end up mismanaging their finances, if they continue doing this they could eventually get caught in the web of debt, get bad credit rating… sites like what you mentioned can really help out those people… sites that offer articles, advise, credit cards, a new bank account, can really be a light saver for people having such a difficulty financially…

    2. Do not stick your head in the sand! I have been doing that for years and now it has come back and kicked me up the arse! I cant even get a debit card for my current bank account and have to carry cash everywhere.
