Vegas memories

Oh Las Vegas. The last time I was there was over a year ago. It was so hot and dry there. Everyday I was sitting infront of the air conditioner trying to cool off. But you can only take so much ac, right? I hated going outside because it was so hot and i didn’t want to go in because the air was so stale.

But now I miss it so much! The constant movement of people. The un-escapable sounds of the slot machines. Tourists, tourists, tourists…. So many people to rip off. J/K.

I have never stayed over at one of the major casinos at the strip. The couple of times I was there I stayed at one of those budget suites. I can’t really complain because with the money that I saved from going to a cheaper motel, I rented a car. I probably spent the same amount of money in the end but freedom costs money right?

Vegas still is one of fastest city in the US. Vegas homes have doubled their values in couple of years and they do not show any signs of slowing down. One of my friend (actually his parents) owns a house very close to the Vegas strip. I believe they bought it for around 500k and now it’s over a million. We are not talking about big old houses here but a tiny house. I know there are tons of places around the world that has the same kind of property value. But they don’t have the Vegas feel to it. One of my dream is to move to Vegas. Maybe someday… There are so many shows to watch, places to go, Grand Canyon, ever growing number of casinos.
