Rain (비) Top Korean Celeb of 2006
Korean singer Rain (비) was this year’s busiest entertainer. Giving his first concert in February at New York’s Madison Square Garden, the singer took the first steps towards the U.S. market. He also was chosen as one of the world’s 100 most influential people by U.S. news magazine Time, proving that his popularity is not limited just to Asia.

Rain will be performing at the Caesar’s Palace Hotel’s Colosseum in Las Vegas on Dec. 23-24.
The shows will feature songs performed in Korean, Chinese, Japanese and English.
Rain’s performances in Las Vegas are part of the proceeds from his world tour “Rain’s Coming.†His world tour was designed by World Vision’s project to assist Asian children who suffer from AIDS.
