Tila Tequila has the Most Friends in the World! Over 1.6 million on MySpace

Tila Tequila, the bisexual former Playboy model has become the quirky queen of MySpace.
The Hollywood 25-year-old was the first person to notch up a million mates on the hit social site earlier this year — now she has 1.6 million virtual friends.
She says: “I have been in the ‘top eight’ lists of Pamela Anderson, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Snoop Dogg on their MySpace sites, which is cool.”
Feisty Tila, who says she is addicted to watching female strippers, is certainly capitalising on her online fame.
She has advertising contracts, her own clothing range, a single out soon, a fledgling acting career and a TV job lined up, all achieved on the back of her glamour model past and her current MySpace popularity.
She hopes to build her fame into a media empire, saying: “I think in the next five years I will have made £43million.”
Tila, once in a threeway relationship with two women, joined MySpace in 2004. “I have always been an internet girl. I had my own website where I just wrote about my life so when a friend invited me to join MySpace I was like ‘yeah, why not’.”
Legions of MySpacers were soon hooked on her frank, confessional style.
Tila uses Myspace to rant about everything from sex to politics and has recently been chronicling her attempts to stay celibate for six months.
“I am honest, I don’t pretend to be some kind of perfect virgin. In my blog it comes across like I am talking to you directly,” she says.
Tila’s real surname is Nguyen. She earned her nickname after getting drunk on tequila as a teen.
Back then, she joined a gang, got caught up in drugs and violence and had run-ins with the police.
“When I was 18 I decided I was going to change my life,” she says. “Thanks to MySpace I have achieved that.”
Wow, 1.6 million? That’s a hell of a lot. Personally I don’t like how she looks or her nick name.
